We are about 10 weeks into cloth diapering our three boys!
It's going really well and I just love some of the things people say when they hear we are CDing 3!
"WOWZER!"
"That must be a chore!"
"I bet you are always doing laundry!"
"Three?!?!"
"Busy momma!!"
"And I though I had a lot of diaper laundry!"
"You're brave"
"That's a lot of poop"
"That's great momma!"
"Good for you!"
"Tell me more!"
So,as you can see, most of the comments aren't really negative at all-maybe assumptions-but not negative!
Most people are just surprised I suppose!

If there is one cloth diapering accessory that I am eternally grateful for,it is a diaper sprayer-for without it,we would have gone back to using disposables!
I'm not kidding-if you have contemplated 'maybe' getting one, please do yourself a favor and click the button already!
I have attended several cloth diapering twitter parties, and while I only won once (which is better than not!),I get great advice and it's an occasion that I look forward to : Meeting up with other cloth-crazy parents to discuss our obsession and being met with understanding and equal enthusiasm!
I've.Got.This.
Our city water had to be shut off for a whole day TWICE in the last week for repairs.
Hubby wanted to switch back to disposables for the day to make clean-up 'easier'.
I refused!
I told him to just place the messy diapers in a bag and I would spray them all off that night,no big deal.
What would you have done?
Because we are saving for our down payment on our house and we are cutting back on things we don't really need,we discontinued using the biodegradable liners.
I am happy to report that we are getting by just fine without them and that they were never really necessary in the first place!
I am washing diapers pretty much every-other day or when I feel like it.
We have enough to get by for about 3 days if I don't get around to washing them, therefore I don't have to stress quite as bad.
I usually sit down at night (after the boys are asleep) and watch an episode of something on Netflix while I stuff and fold the diapers.....It's sorta become my routine and it forces me to NOT write a blog or play around on facebook.
It's my 'me' time to sit back in my recliner and take my time.
I don't really consider it a chore either,I enjoy it....does that make me weird?
When I am at the store,it is STILL a habit to check out the prices of disposables-namely Luvs diapers.
I noticed this week that the price of the big box went up by one whole dollar ($1)!!
We were easily going through 2 boxes each for the two youngest and close to 3 for Jeremiah-which means we would be spending another $7 plus per month on diapers-now that's money down the drain!
I Love My Cloth!

Ive been cding since my first was 6 months old. We re now cding our third kid! My diapes held up nicely through all of them. Ive started replacing some elastic in the leg holes to get a tighter fit since the elastic has stretched. Other than that, theyve been the best investment as far as baby products go. I too sit and stuff dipes while watching tv. I dont mind it at all. I find my life has become less stressful since ive started living more crunchy.
